Lead(IV) oxide react with potassium iodide and nitric acid

3PbO2 + KI + 6HNO3 → KIO3 + 3Pb(NO3)2 + 3H2O




Lead(IV) oxide react with potassium iodide and nitric acid to produce potassium iodate, lead(II) nitrate and water. Nitric acid - diluted solution. The reaction takes place in a boiling solution.
