2KI + Fe2(SO4)3 → I2 + 2FeSO4 + K2SO4


Potassium iodide react with iron(III) sulfate to produce iodine, iron(II) sulfate and potassium sulfate. The reaction takes place in a diluted solution sulfuric acid.
