2KNO2 + (NH4)2SO4 → 2N2 + K2SO4 + 4H2O




Potassium nitrite react with ammonium sulfate to produce nitrogen, potassium sulfate and water. Potassium nitrite and ammonium sulfate - saturated solutions. The reaction takes place in a boiling solution.
