2KReO4 + 17CO → [Re2(CO)10] + K2CO3 + 6CO2




Potassium perrhenate react with carbon monoxide to produce decacarbonyldirhenium, potassium carbonate and carbon dioxide. This reaction takes place at a temperature of 250-270°C and an overpressure.
