2K2SO2F + SOCl2 → SOF2 + 2SO2 + 2KCl




Potassium fluorosulfonite react with thionyl chloride to produce sulfuryl fluoride, sulfur dioxide and potassium chloride. This reaction takes place at a temperature of 180-200°C.
