Diiron(III)-magnesium oxide react with sodium hydroxide

MgFe2O4 + 2NaOH → MgO + 2NaFeO2 + H2O




Diiron(III)-magnesium oxide react with sodium hydroxide to produce magnesium oxide, sodium ferrite and water. This reaction takes place at a temperature near 1200°C.
