4NO + 2NaOH → 2NaNO2 + N2O + H2O


Nitric oxide react with sodium hydroxide to produce sodium nitrite, dinitrogen monoxide and water. Sodium hydroxide - solid. The reaction slowly proceeds at room temperature.
