Pt + 2PbF4 + 2KF → K2[PtF6] + 2PbF2


Platinum react with lead(IV) fluoride and potassium fluoride to produce potassium hexafluoroplatinate(IV) and lead(II) fluoride. This reaction takes place at a temperature of 300-325°C.
