Platinum react with trihydrate potassium hexacyanoferrate(II)

Pt + K4[Fe(CN)6]•3H2O → K2[Pt(CN)4] + 2KCN + 3H2O


Platinum react with trihydrate potassium hexacyanoferrate(II) to produce potassium tetracyanoplatinate(II), potassium cyanide and water. This reaction takes place at a temperature near 200°C.
