Hydrogen tetrachloridoplatinate(II) react with sodium carbonate to produce platinum(II) hydroxide, sodium chloride, hydrogen chloride and carbon dioxide. Sodium carbonate - concentrated solution. The reaction takes place in a boiling solution.
