K2[PtCl4] + 4KBr → K2[PtBr4] + 4KCl


Potassium tetrachloridoplatinate(II) react with potassium bromide to produce potassium tetrabromidoplatinate(II) and potassium chloride. Potassium bromide - concentrated solution. This reaction takes place at a temperature near 60°C.
