Potassium hexachloridoplatinate(IV) react with hydrazinium dichloride to produce Potassium tetrachloridoplatinate(II) react with nitrogen and hydrogen chloride. Potassium hexachloridoplatinate(IV) in the suspension form. Hydrazinium dichloride - solid. The reaction takes place in a boiling solution.
