ZrSiO4 + 8KHF2 → K2[ZrF6] + K2[SiF6] + 4KF + 4H2O


Zirconium(IV) orthosilicate react with potassium hydrofluoride to produce hexafluorozirconate(IV) potassium, potassium hexafluorosilicate(IV), potassium fluoride water. This reaction takes place by heating to the temperature of no more than 600°C.
