Potassium tetranitroplatinate(II) dihydrate react with sulfuric acid to produce potassium tetrasulfatodiaquadiplatinate(III), nitric oxide, nitrous acid and potassium nitrite. Sulfuric acid - diluted solution. This reaction takes place at a temperature of <10°C.
