Platinum(II) sulfide react with hydrogen chloride and nitric acid to produce hydrogen hexachloridoplatinate(IV), sulfuric acid, nitric oxide and water. Hydrogen chloride and nitric acid - concentrated solutions. The reaction takes place in a boiling solution.
