Rhenium react with antimony(V) chloride

Re + 2SbCl5 → ReCl4 + 2SbCl3


Rhenium react with antimony(V) chloride to produce rhenium(IV) chloride and antimony(III) chloride. This reaction takes place at a temperature near 600°C and an overpressure.
