3ZnO + 4S + 2NH3 + H2O → 3ZnS + (NH4)2SO4


Zinc oxide react with sulfur, ammonia and water to produce zinc sulfide and ammonium sulfate. This reaction takes place at a temperature near 225°C and an overpressure.
