3ReF6 + 3SiO2 → 2ReO3F + ReF4 + 3SiF4


Rhenium(VI) fluoride react with silicon dioxide to produce rhenium(VII) trioxide-fluoride, rhenium(IV) fluoride and silicon tetrafluoride. This reaction takes place by heating to the temperature of no more than 300°C.
