Rhodium react with potassium bisulfate

2Rh + 12KHSO4 → 2K3[Rh(SO4)3] + 3K3SO4 + 3SO2 + 6H2O


Rhodium react with potassium bisulfate to produce potassium trisulfatorhodate(III), potassium sulfate, sulfur dioxide and water. This reaction takes place at a temperature near 700°C.
