2RhCl3 + 6CO → [Rh2(CO)4Cl2] + 2COCl2


Rhodium(III) chloride react with carbon monoxide to produce dichloridotetracarbonyldirhodium and phosgene. This reaction takes place at a temperature near 140°C and an overpressure.
