Rhodium(III) chloride react with water and carbon monoxide

RhCl3 + 2H2O + 6CO → [Rh(CO)4H] + 3HCl + 2CO2


Rhodium(III) chloride react with water and carbon monoxide to produce hydroxotetracarbonylrhodium, hydrogen chloride and carbon dioxide. This reaction takes place at a temperature near 200°C and an overpressure.
