RuCl3 + F2 + 4KF → K[RuF6] + 3KCl


Ruthenium(III) chloride react with fluorine and potassium fluoride to produce potassium hexafluororuthenate(V) and potassium chloride. This reaction takes place at a temperature near 300°C.
