Sulfur react with sulfur dioxide

3S + 2SO2 → 2S2O


Sulfur react with sulfur dioxide to produce sulfur(IV) oxide-sulfide. This reaction takes place at a temperature of over 100°C, in vacuo, an electric discharge.
