S4N4 + 2SnCl2 + 8HCl → S4(NH4) + 2H2[SnCl6]


Tetrasulfur tetranitride react with tin(II) chloride and hydrogen chloride to produce cyclo-S4(NH4) and hydrogen hexachloridostannate(IV). This reaction takes place in a benzene at a temperature near 80°C.
