H[SbCl6] + H2O → SbOCl3 + 3HCl


Hydrogen hexachloridoantimonate(V) react with water to produce antimony(V) oxide-trichloride and hydrogen chloride. This reaction takes place by diluting the diluted solution hydrogen hexachloridoantimonate(V) with cold water.
