Antimony(III) iodide react with nitric acid

2SbI3 + 10HNO3 → Sb2O5 + 3I2 + 10NO2 + 5H2O


Antimony(III) iodide react with nitric acid to produce antimony(V) oxide, iodine, nitrogen dioxide and water. Nitric acid - concentrated solution. The reaction takes place in a boiling solution.
