3Sc2S3 + 15O2 → 2Sc2O3 + Sc2(SO4)3 + 6SO2


Scandium(III) sulfide react with oxygen to produce scandium(III) oxide, scandium(III) sulfate and sulfur dioxide. This reaction takes place at a temperature of 350-425°C.
