Selenium react with sulfuric acid

Se + 2H2SO4 → SeO2 + 2SO2 + 2H2O


Selenium react with sulfuric acid to produce selenium(IV) oxide, sulfur dioxide and water. Sulfuric acid - concentrated solution. This reaction takes place in a boiling solution.
