Selenic acid react with mercury

4H2SeO4 + Hg → Hg2SeO4 + HgSeO4 + 2SeO2 + 4H2O


Selenic acid react with mercury to produce mercury(I) selenate, mercury(II) selenate, selenium(IV) oxide and water. Selenic acid - concentrated solution. This reaction takes place in a boiling solution.
