SiCl4 + 4AgOCN → Si(OCN)4 + 4AgCl


Silicon(IV) chloride react with silver(I) cyanate to produce silicon(IV) cyanate and silver(I) chloride. This reaction takes place in a benzene, at a temperature near 10°C.
