Silicon dioxide react with lithium tetrahydroxoaluminate(III)

2SiO2 + 2Li[AlH4]→ 2SiH4 + Li2O + Al2O3


Silicon dioxide react with lithium tetrahydroxoaluminate(III) to produce silicon(IV) hydride, oxide lithium and aluminum oxide. This reaction takes place at a temperature of 170-200°C.
