Tin react with sulfuric acid

Sn + 2H2SO4 → SnSO4 + SO2 + 2H2O


Tin react with sulfuric acid to produce tin(II) sulfate, sulfur dioxide and water. Sulfuric acid - concentrated solution. This reaction takes place slowly. Impurities: chloride tin(IV) Sn(SO4)2.
