SnCl2 + Br2 + 4HCl → H2[SnCl6] + 2HBr


Tin(II) chloride react with bromine and hydrogen chloride to produce hydrogen hexachloridostannate(IV) and hydrogen bromide. Hydrogen chloride - concentrated solution. Impurities: hexabromidostannate(IV) hydrogen.
