Tin(IV) oxide react with sodium hydroxide and water

SnO2 + 2NaOH + 2H2O → Na2[Sn(OH)6]


Tin(IV) oxide react with sodium hydroxide and water to produce sodium hexahydroxostannate(IV). Sodium hydroxide - concentrated solution. This reaction takes place at a temperature of 60-70°C.
