2SrCrO4 + 16HCl → 2SrCl2 + 2CrCl3 + 3Cl2 + 8H2O


Strontium chromate react with hydrogen chloride to produce strontium chloride, chromium(III) chloride, chlorine and water. Hydrogen chloride - concentrated solution. The reaction takes place in a boiling solution.
