TeO3 + 2HCl → TeO2 + Cl2 + H2O


Tellurium(VI) oxide react with hydrogen chloride to produce tellurium(IV) oxide, chlorine and water. Hydrogen chloride - gas. This reaction takes place at a temperature of 100-120°C.
