Titanium(IV) chloride react with oxygen

TiCl4 + O2 → TiO2 + 2Cl2

Titanium(IV) chloride react with oxygen to produce oxide titanium(IV) and chlorine. This reaction takes place at a temperature of 1000-1400°C.[17]
