Titanium(IV) chloride react with lithium tetrahydroxoborate(III)

2TiCl4 + 2Li[BH4] → 2TiCl3 + 2LiCl + B2H6 + H2

Titanium(IV) chloride react with lithium tetrahydroxoborate(III) to produce titanium(III) chloride, lithium chloride, diborane and hydrogen. Titanium(IV) chloride - liquid. The reaction proceeds at room temperature.
