Titanium(IV) chloride react with ammonia

TiCl4 + 4NH3 → TiCl4•4NH3


Titanium(IV) chloride react with ammonia to produce adduct ammonia and titanium(IV) chloride. The reaction is conducted in a liquid ammonia at a temperature near -40°C.
