Vanadium(III) chloride react with ammonium hydroxide

VCl3 + 3(NH3•H2O) → VO(OH) + 3NH4Cl + H2O


Vanadium(III) chloride react with ammonium hydroxide to produce metavanadium hydroxide, ammonium chloride and water. Hydroxide ammonium - concentrated solution. The reaction slowly takes place in a boiling solution.
