Vanadium(III) chloride react with oxygen

2VCl3 + O2 → 2VOCl3


Vanadium(III) chloride react with oxygen to produce vanadium trichloride oxide. This reaction takes place at a temperature of 300-400°C. Impurities: vanadium(V) oxide V2O5.
