Vanadium(III) chloride react with silver(I) fluoride and bromine(III) fluoride

VCl3 + AgCl + 2BrF3 → Ag[VF6] + Br2 + 2Cl2


Vanadium(III) chloride react with silver(I) fluoride and bromine(III) fluoride to produce silver(I)hexafluorovanadate(V), bromine and chlorine. The reaction is conducted in a liquid fluoride bromine(III) in a boiling solution.
