Vanadium(IV), fluoride react with ammonium fluoride and water to produce ammonium tetrafluorooxoaquavanadate(IV) and hydrogen fluoride. Ammonium fluoride - saturated solution. This reaction slowly takes place at a temperature near 0°C.
