Silane react with silver(I) chloride

SiH4 + 2AgCl → SiH3Cl + HCl + 2Ag

Silane react with silver(I) chloride to produce chlorinesilane, hydrogen chloride and silver. This reaction takes place at a temperature near 260°C.
