Germanium(IV) chloride react with sulfur trioxide

GeCl4 + 6SO3 → Ge(SO4)2 + 2S2O5Cl2


Germanium(IV) chloride react with sulfur trioxide to produce germanium(IV) sulfate and disulfur pentaoxide-dichloride. The reaction proceeds heating the reaction mixture in the in a sealed tube to the temperature of 160°C [16].
