Sulfur trioxide react with fluorine

2SO3 + F2 → FO2SOOSO2F


Sulfur trioxide react with fluorine to produce peroxide-tetraoxide-disulfur difluoride. This reaction takes place at a temperature of 160°C. In this reaction, the catalyst is can be fluoride silver(II). The yield was 90%.
