PuCl3 + 3HBr → PuBr3 + 3HCl


Plutonium(III) chloride react with hydrogen bromide to produce plutonium(III) bromide and hydrogen chloride. Hydrogen bromide in excess. This reaction is proceeds at a temperature of 400-600°C.
