RuI3 + 5CO + 3Ag → Ru(CO)5 + 3AgI


Ruthenium(III) iodide react with carbon monoxide and silver(I) to produce pentacarbonylruthenium and silver(I) iodide. This reaction takes place at a temperature of 175°C and at 250 atm.
