CoCl2 + 2N2O5 → Cl2 + Co(NO3)2•N2O4


Cobalt(II) chloride react with dinitrogen pentoxide to produce chlorine and adduct nitrate cobalt(II) and dinitrogen tetroxide. The reaction proceeds at room temperature in the СCl4.
