Zinc oxide react with sodium hydroxide and water

ZnO + 2NaOH + H2O → Na2[Zn(OH)4]


Zinc oxide react with sodium hydroxide and water to produce tetrahydroxozincate(II) sodium. Sodium hydroxide - 60% solution. This reaction takes place at a temperature near 90°C.
